Dancer:
Karina has been dancing since 1981, when she has 5; and teaching since 1989, when she was 13. She has experience with dancing Salsa sice 1992. Nowadays she dances, teaches and performs mostly Salsa New York Style On2 (Eddie Torres Style), but also LA Style, Cuban and Rueda Casino.She also dances, teaches and performs Samba no Pé (solo), Samba de Gafieira (in couple), Forró, Bolero, Swing (Fox Trot and Jive), Zouk and Lambada. She has been also dancing Tango, Biodanza and Jazz.
More than just techniques, Karina has got a feminine, sensual and spontaneous way of moving.
Karina uses also therapeutic methods to lead a dance class, to increase body awareness, relaxation and fun! Her dance classes are known to be very dynamic!

From the age of 13 to 23 Yami was also worked as an actress and model in her leisure time.

Karina Yami is an holistic teraphist graduated in psychology. She is also a Reiki master and has strong experience in the area of naturalism and vegetarianism since 1987. Karina Yami comes from Brazil. She is Reyza's (El Rey) wife & dance partner. Yami means 'The way of truth'... the truth of joy, love and consciousness. This name was given to Karina by her enlightened master Vasant Swaha.
